This lovely little guy up there is Jordan Witzigreuter, from the band The Ready Set.
I thought the picture was appropriate, heading into the holiday season. (If you'd like to hear the song related to the photo, look up Blizzard of '89 ft. Never Shout Never, who I reviewed last week!)

The Ready Set is an American Alternative-pop singer from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is the lead vocalist and sole member of the act, using a backup band while on tour.
Most people have heard his song, Love Like Woe, but then don't look him up. He is a fantastic singer and performer, and meets his fans any chance he can. I have seen him three times in concert and met him one. He is so personable and is so funny to talk to. He is really short, about 5'3" or maybe 5'4".
Jordan has 4 tattoos, all inspired by his favorite band, Copeland. My favorite of his is the one on the side of his arm that reads 'stay what you are', which is what he lives by.
My favorite song by The Ready Set is Sixty-Eight, an acoustic song. This song reminds me of one of my dear friends who died my seventh grade year, Hunter Mackenzie Pope.
Lyrics:
Hope you enjoy this lovey boy and his music.

Lyrics:
And one day the world’s gonna be alright,
And there will be no pain
Shut the ICU down tonight
'Cause everyone is safe
And I will overlook this operation by your side
'Cause we’re too young, we’re still kids
We’re too young, we’re still kids
I see your hearts get bigger when you lose your friends
And everyone’s around you saying that it’s not the end,
It's not the end
But you cried so hard,
And I watched you grow so strong
And I made you laugh in my arms
And your tear-stained shirt, you felt the snowflakes on your back
And you stood so proud
You had me wishing, wanting, begging for some words from you
And you smiled to the crowd,
It’s enough for now
’Cause we’re too young, we’re still kids
We’re too young, we’re still kids
Take a break from the mask,
You’ve done enough today
I saw you smiling like it’s all ok,
And it will be soon
This is a song for the boys and the girls I never met
And all my friends that I have had and I have kept
So get me down, down for the count
’Cause we are all the same, we’re all the same
It’s my job to keep you strong, I do it ’cause I’m supposed to
It’s my job to keep you strong, I do it ’cause I like to
It’s my job to keep you strong, I do it ’cause I’m told to.
It’s my job to keep you strong, I do it ’cause I love you
I do it 'cause I love you
I do it 'cause I love you
I do it 'cause I love you
On that day, we will be in charge
The weather’s always bright and 68 degrees
And there will be no pain
Shut the ICU down tonight
'Cause everyone is safe
And I will overlook this operation by your side

It's a beautiful song, here's a link in case you'd like to hear it.

I have never heard about this band before you posted about them. I looked them up on youtube and listened to the song which you provided the lyrics for. It was a really amazing song! If you hadn't written this post, I would have never looked them up! I learned something new :)
